lyrics

We find ourselves in darkness, if we find ourselves at all
Blind to your goodness and deaf to your call

you say come to me

see how far we've fallen from what we were made to be
slaves of our ambition, while claiming we're free

Won't someone please save us from the tyrany of self
will anybody free us from the illusions of our wealth

you plead come, come to me

you died so we could enter
we just smile and walk away
you told us to come boldly and say what we would say

come, you say come to me

you invite all who are hungry and anyone who thirsts
so you can heal the broken hearted and wipe away our hurts

but we live like we're okay, we don't need anybody else
and we teach our children that you help those who help themselves

you plead come, come to me

come to me I'm living water
come to me, I'm bread of life
my yoke is easy and
my burden's light
did I not prove my love
when I gave my life, I gave my life for you

but you live like you're okay, you don't need anybody's help
and you teach your children that I help those who help themselves
